I was introduced to cold exposure at a friend’s boxing gym, using the Wim Hof method to trigger the body’s fight-flight response. Through controlled breathing, you calm your physiology under stress.

My first ice bath was a shock—every part of me screamed to get out. With guidance and breath, I stayed in. The rest of the day felt amazing.

If we can stay calm under pressure, we build resilience. Leaning into discomfort, breathing through it, and staying present is powerful.

It’s not about waiting for big moments—practice in small ways daily. Like the ice bath, take it one step at a time.
